Nepal Presents US$17 Billion Strategic Infrastructure Project Pipeline

On 5 November, government and private-sector representatives outlined an infrastructure development agenda ahead of the Nepal Infrastructure Summit scheduled for 9–10 December in Kathmandu. Approximately US$17 billion in proposed projects across energy, transport, urban infrastructure, industry, tourism and technology is expected to be presented. This is a proposed project pipeline, not completed investment or awarded construction contracts. It creates opportunities for developers, engineering firms and institutional investors.
